What time does the Eid prayer start?

The takbirs will begin at 8:30 am, and the prayer will take place at 9:30 am. Bring a prayer rug for each member of your family.

Where can I park?

There is on the street parking within the park. Please follow the signage when you arrive and the instructions of the parking attendants.

How do I pay my Zakat ul Fitr if I plan to attend Eid in the Park?

Zakat al-Fitr arrangements must be made individually or with your local religious leadership BEFORE coming to Philadelphia Eid in the Park.

Will there be refreshments on site?

Yes! Breakfast and lunch will be served for free at Philadelphia Eid in the Park. There will also be vendors, and food for sale throughout the day.

At what time do the festivities begin?

Festivities will begin at 11:00 am and will end at 5:00 pm following Salat ul Asr.

Will there be security on-site?

Yes, for the safety of those in attendance, there will be full security including local police.

What else do I need to know?

For the convenience of those in attendance, we will be providing portable restrooms, first aid stations, lost and found tent for children as well as lost items, and other logistical amenities.
